Dear Ilia, did you used PBGUNS or COMSOL code for simulation?

I use the COMSOL. The PBGUNS iteratively calculates the shape and position of the meniscus inside the focusing electrode. In our pulsed sources these parameters of the meniscus are non stationary so I use emittance as the starting conditions for modeling which by the way depends on the parameters of the meniscus. The use of emittance as the initial modeling data is provided in the COMSOL
